I have recently begun attending classes in your school with my puppy. We've
never met, although heard quite a bit of wonderful things about you from previous
'students', I feel like I know you!. We are having a great time learning with
Dory and Dave and are looking forward to meeting you when you are feeling
better.
My husband and I wish you all the best and of course our puppy Rex too! Our
prayers are with you as you continue to heal and hope that you will make a
full recovery. Best wishes and God bless

Hi Bill, I've just discovered your website. We are thinking about you all
the time and always wondering how you are doing so it's great to be able to
reach you through this website. I understand a little what it's like to have
to have cancer and the terrible ordeal you are going through. We are rooting
for you and know you will beat this. We miss you very much at class and look
forward to seeing you back there soon. In the meantime, Dory is doing a great
job and we will continue taking classes at the school. Hope we see you soon.
Sincerely, Sue and Gary Rosenblum

Bill, you did a wonderful job teaching Louie to be agile. It just cost me $900.00
to reinforce the fence on my property because he can manage to get over or under
anything. When I sit in a chair at night, Louie propels himself through the
air like a rocket and lands on my lap to love me. The only problem is that he
is now about 80 lbs. When you get back to work, he needs obedience classes.
We have decided that he does not need any more agility classes. Hurry back!

Biscuit agility. You were really great. Grace & peace.
Jan 15 2005 by Peter & Jo Ann Salmon
Hi Bill, Just wanted you to know you're always in our thoughts and prayers. I
hope things are going good for you. We miss seeing you as frequently as we did
when we were bringing our pugsters to class. With this winter...well, like everyone
we're just waiting for Spring. Now...I'm going to ask again, what would you like
me to cook for you? I miss making the ziti parm, but you'll get that and more
as a celebration dinner when you can resume eating pasta sauce. Whatever you want.
I should mention that my culinary skills (lol) are now being used to create dishes
from Cooking Light OMG...so anything that doesn't taste like drywall, it's a keeper!
New Year's resolution, wish me luck. Hi to all your pups from us. XO

strong - we are all here fighting this with you! All our love the Ruff pack

Hi Bill, we just found out about your website. you are in our thoughts and prayers

for Nelson, our bull terrier. Remember his first birthday, when we brought a 'birthday

both at home and at class! There are so many people praying for you, we know that
you will fully recover both from the cancer and your back problem. Hang in there!!

Hey Bill, hang in there! I am a 4 year breast cancer survivor! I donated to your
fund last month, but in all the literature, including this website, there is no
mention of what type of cancer you have been battling. I would like to add your
situation to a prayer list of Allendale Mom's. God Bless and have faith.

Hello Uncle Bill! We just recently heard of your illness at the end of last year
and wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Although we are far
from you in the Berkshire mountains, we think of you often and are so glad to
know you have such a great support system. We recently adopted another dog (that
makes three!) and it made me think of the times you were able to help me out with
any dog crisis I may have had. I hope you continue to feel better. All our love!

Hi Bill, When I bumped into you the other day, I was impressed at how good you
looked. (Notice that I did not mention that you did not feel that way) There are
so many people who are backing you all the way in this rotten ordeal. You will
overcome this! Louie still really needs you. He is absolutely adorable but he
needs much more training. He really is agile, though.

Hi Bill, This website is a great way for all of us to find out how you are doing.
I keep waiting for the day that you finally tell us that you are feeling better.
That day will come sooner than you think. You can tell by the support that you
do have, that you have touched many people though the work you do. You also have
a great deal of four legged friends, who are great pets, because of your patience.
What you are experiencing now really stinks, but you have already finished with
much of it. We will all be there for you for whatever you need. Just let us know
how we can help.

Hi Bill, It's Cathy and Jessie checking in to see how you are doing. I am sure
that Chemo must @#$%^& STINK big time. Try to get hanging in there!! It is
Saint Patrick's Day and I have been thinking of you all day. Jessie and I took
a long walk in the woods today and the whole time you keep popping into my thoughts.
I was sending you positive thoughts right back - did you feel them?? Jessie has
become a wonderful hiker, even though she still chases an occassional deer once
in a while. As we all know, Jessie is practically perfect, not perfect!! Today
we were going up a pretty good incline and I was huffing and puffing a little
bit as I am in such great shape - NOT! Anyhow, Jessie was ahead of me and when
she noticed that I was lagging behind, she sat down and waited for me to catch
up. What a dog, uh? I have you to thank for helping me to get Jessie where she
is now!! Remember what my Jessie was like long ago when I was at my wits-end with
her?? You are in my prayers all the time. Spring will bring good things to you
this year I am sure of it!!! Wishing you a fast recovery. Cathy
Mar 17 2005 by Lesley Good
Hi Bill, I hope all goes well, I'm sorry chemo got cancelled due to snow (I hate
the stuff myself!) Lokie, the doggie school drop-out sends lots of licks -the
one thing he is really good at. He licked away the growth on my huskys eye. I
think of you often, be well. Lesley
Mar 19 2005 by Arlene
Hi Bill - Tasha was in her annual trial yesterday and she qualified in jumpers
and finished a title! Remember when she was a scrawny puppy showing off her agility
skills at your place? Look how far she's come - now she's a scrawny adult :) It
was great to see you last week, and especially nice that you were able to get
outside for a bit. I ran into Diane Polito and she sends her regards. We all miss
you and we're looking forward to your full recovery. Love, Arlene, Tasha, Holly
and Blitz

Hi there, Bill. Hope you are hanging in there and fighting hard. We would love
to see you one of these Tuesdays if you ever feel up to it (and can stand Wally's
mouth). Arlene is working wonders with him (and trying hard with me . . . no luck
yet! 3 left feet.) Am adopting another cocker. Dory hooked us up, she's the best.
You can check out Sophie at: http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=4198919
Had a G. Shepherd in there with your name written all over her, she tried to tear
me to pieces through the cage. Labeled "Dangerous Dog". Get better soon
and go get her, will you? Hope to see you soon, Rich, Wally, and Sophie (formerly
known as Buffy (what a dopey name for a red dog, no? Let me know if you plan to
come in one night, I will be sure to bring her.))
Mar 29 2005 by Rich and Wally
PS . . . if you ever need help with the dogs, just let me know. Dunno about the
2 tough guys, but I can always throw them a couple of steaks through the window
and run real fast, right? Believe me, you DON'T want me cooking for you, man!

Hi Bill, We are all praying hard for your recovery. We all wish that things
were going better for you but you have to hang in there. The next thing we need
to do is to try to find someone who could finish that fence for you. It would
be so much easier for you if you could just open the door and put the dogs outside
for a while. Maybe one of your many friends has some connection with a fence
company. We eagerly await the day that we hear that you are doing great.

Bill, I hope you get to read all of these messages from your friends, family
and supporters...you have influenced so many lives (both 4 legged and 2 legged!)
My thoughts and prayers are always with you and while you have probably tried
to forget... remember, I am just around the corner! Hang in there and please
know that we are all behind you. God bless.

When I first met Bill, I was at the end of my rope with my Bull Terrier, Nelson.
However, Bill came in and proceeded to undo all of the garbage training that
had been recommended by the dog knowledgeable people I knew. After Bill trained
me, we were able to train the dog. Now Nelson is LOVED by more people than I
ever could have imagined. I owe it all to Bill. To say that I am a better dog
owner because of Bill is an understatement. I truly believe that my experiences
with him made me a better person as well. God bless you, Bill. You are in our
prayers.
Apr 03 2005 by Gregg & Jodi Ruff
Bill, Though work has made it impossible for us to get to night time agility
over the last few months you are always on our minds. Gregg, the BC pack &
I are always sending lots of love and wishes for a full recovery your way. I
know it must be difficult to get to all your emails - please if you need anything
at all please call us or have Dory call us to help in any way we can. We really
miss seeing you. Lots of Love, The Ruff Pack

Hi Bill, Just wanted to write a note to say hello and to let you know we're
always thinking and praying for your full recovery. Peter and I are using all
the great things you taught us in class last year. The pugs are going at their
own pace, pugs are pugs, lol. Molly, our boxer catches on quick. Her response
to the commands are executed with crisp and clean movements. She will sit like
a statue till you tell her she can move. Megs will waddle her butt down..eventually,
lol. Morgan just plops his butt down, it's so cute. They're in for the treats
they're not kidding anyone, so they'll do just enough to get it! Stay strong,
and hope to see you soon. xo

Hi, Bill, We just wanted you to know that we were quite apprehensive about bringing
Stella to her first Doggie Birthday Party. How kind (or dumb) of my neice to ask
us to bring Stella!!! But, we did and she was soooo good. I guess she had a good
trainer...I guess we had a good trainer. We are hoping to see you again. It's

Hey stranger, I think of you often, Cindy has kept me filled in on what's happening
with you. I also keep in touch with Soko & Jim. Heidi is living back in switzerland
& asks about you often. Mollie has been rated the 3rd fastest Cairn Terrier
in the U.S. I can't thank you enough for the start you gave us in Agility. We
still do therapy work in some of the local nursing homes, and we have a wall full
of ribbons from her agility trials. all of her qualifying runs earned her a first
place ribbon. I followed your lead & recently became an ACO,no questions on
the test about cows stomachs tho', Keep strong and know that we miss You. and
you are always in our hearts & prayers. Linda & Mollie

Apr 25 2005 by Lisa Alford & Molly & Tucker
Hi Bill! Just thinking of you and hope to see you at the Walkathon on Sunday.
We all miss you at class and hope you can finish your treatments soon. Tucker
is being such a good boy lately that he's going to come to the Walk with me. Keep
your fingers crossed that he doesn't try to eat anyone. We all know if I brought
Molly though she'd be gobbling up any food she could find. She's been very good
therapy dogging at Hackensack Medical Center but there was one day when a blueberry
muffin was too much temptation and she made a lunge for it. I was kneeling down
and grabbed her fast but still ended up on my rear end. I'm fairly sure she likes
embarassing me like that! Hope you have a good week. Lisa

Dear Bill, The news of your successful medical treatments is really what we have
all been waiting to hear. With all the prayers that you and your friends have
been saying, maybe there has been some Divine Intervention that has aided your
medical protocol. You are going to get through this!

Bill: You may not remember us, but the Holland-Moritz family owes you a big one.
You watched our yellow Lab, Tucker many times when we went away. He often pushed
Beau and then Dexter out of your bed to sleep with you. Tucker is now 12 and 1/2,
and we still talk about the good care he received when he was in your care. My
sister Pat Schwam told me of the tough time you are going through now. My prayers
are with you, Bill. You have a true gift in working with dogs, and you have indeed
touched our lives. Thank You Bill, and God Bless You. Pam Holland-Moritz Park

with our labs - Maggie (black) and Murphy (yellow) about a year and half ago.
Heard about your fight and glad to see some GREAT NEWS!! Jenn and I think and
ask about you often and I was told about this site. I will pass it on to other
people you have impacted such as R. Rizzo and Neutron's owner (pet therapy parter

our dogs and she is often re-trainig me! "remember Bill said to ....."
Also Jenn is pregnant with twin girls - we'll have a baby for each dog or vice
versa! I'll be checking in on the site and we'll try to make it to the next fundraiser.

Hi Bill, It is SO obvious how many people are praying for your recovery (myself
included) and how many lives you have touched in your career as such a dedicated
dog trainer. As Misty and I began our summer "Reading To The Dogs" program
this week at the Point Pleasant Library I had to once again think about what might
have become of Misty without proper training. Please continue your fight as I
know there are many more Mistys (and owners) out there that need special guidance
from trainers like you. Sincerely, Carol Bardo

Bill, This is a prayer to St Jude that I am saying daily for you. I hope GOD hears
my prayers and bless you with a miracle. St. Jude, you witnessed the healing power
of our Lord Jesus. You saw his compassion for the sick and dying. You yourself
touched the sick, shared the sorrows of the mournful, and encouraged the despairing.
You received this authority and healing power to work wonders, to cure the incurable,
to make people whole. I ask you to intercede with our brother, Jesus, to send
his saving grace to heal the sickness and suffering of BILL DELEANY, to uplift
his despondent spirits, and to instill hope in his heart. Amen. St. Jude, through
prayer you praised God for the wonderful works of Jesus. You asked God for the
strength to meet the challenges of your apostolate. You put your trust in God's
mercy, believing firmly that God loved you and understood your joys and sorrows,
your hopes and fears, and your triumphs and failures. You understood that nothing
is impossible for God. I ask you to pray for BILL DELEANY now before the Most
High so that he too might be filled with God's saving power, understand God's
will for himself and faithfully place himself in God's loving hands. St. Jude,
you remained faithful to our Lord, even unto death. You gave your life so that
others might live. You endured physical pain and emotional abandonment. But you
gladly joined your sufferings to those of our Savior, Jesus, and thus shared in
the redemption of the world. I ask you now to intercede with our brother, Jesus
Christ on BILL DELEANY’S behalf, so that I too can find strength in the face of
his suffering. Help him to trust in God and put his life in his hands. Thanks
you, Amen.

Dear Bill and friends, This is the Groove Street Jazz Band. We have been talking
to Dori about having a concert for you, where all the proceeds would be donated
to the Bill Delaney Medical Fund. We don’t know if she will be able to put anything
advertising it up on the website soon, so we are signing this guestbook in hopes
that your friends will see it here and stop by the show. Groove Street is a local
band made up of talented young adults. We have played in many churches, libraries,
and assisted living centers, and won Paterson’s Mo’ Drama talent show at United
Presbyterian Church. We have also held benefit concerts in the past, one of which
was held at St. Clement’s Church of Hawthorne back in March, where we raised over
$400 to go to UNICEF for tsunami relief. On Saturday, August 13, St. Clement’s
Church on Lafayette Avenue will be hosting our benefit concert for the Bill Delaney
Medical Fund. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Bill. The concert starts
at 7:30pm, and tickets are $7. Additional donations will gladly be accepted. There
will be refreshments provided by the church. Please come out and show your support
for Bill and Groove Street. Thanks. If you have any questions, send an email to

are your angels! Kayde would not the sweet lady she is today without you. She
had two more surgeries in the last six weeks for recurring mast cell tumors and
is in her second week of chemo (fourteen more to go); this is her third chemo
in six years. Red Bank Vet Hospital Oncology rules; best in the state! The Vinblastine
IV push is given every three weeks and I give her Prednisone and CCNU as prescribed
with Pepcid AC and Gas-X to aid her daily. The newest member of our team is Dr.
Gibbs from Ridgewood Vet Hospital with weekly check-ups and CBCs. We all make
an awesome team; very caring, aggressive and positive. Keep up your spirits, Bill.
You're in my prayers, especially when I pray to St. Francis for Kayde (yes, I
ask him to help you also). Pat Reardon-Kary

I see you have had a rough summer too. I am so sorry to know that you have been
in so much pain. I pray that worst is over for you. Continue to fight. Thank

God you found the right place for treatment. You are also blessed with a great
support team. Yu will be in my prayers. Emme and Gracie

Hello Bill! Glad to see you changed to Hackensack Hospital and things have improved.
As I read your Aug. 14 entry, I thought of someone I knew with the highest stage
of melanoma 20 years ago. He is still alive thanks to the place in Philadelphia
who used trial treatments on him. He had only 2 months to live and now he's still
around - although it has been up and down for 20 years. I will find out info,
if you haven't already had it checked out. Let me know. I have been thinking of
you more lately because I've received some really cute and funny animal pictures
via e-mail from my friends helping to cheer me up after Amber's death (choc. Lab
you helped me train 12 years ago). If there is an e-mail site you'd like me to
send them to, let me know. I've kept them just in case you were interested. I
would sometimes see Dory in the lot by your school. She'd fill me in on things.
She has a calming way about her and her love for animals is so obvious. It seems
you have a great support system, and not only are you lucky you do -- you deserve
it. Thinking of you, Lois

Hi Bill- Our Poodle "Ashley" is graduating from your Obediance class
next Monday, really enjoyed the Puppy Kdg and will be attending the Agility in
the fall - your staff is exceptional! Dory,Toni and the rest of the staff are
wonderful - we are always greeted personally and Dory has a few little nicknames
for our Ashley (Ashley loves her!) she can't wait to bound up those stairs &
get in the room! I also wanted to tell you about my Mom - she has a very narrow
esophagus and has to get it dilated a few times a year. A few years back - on
Thanksgiving - she tore her esophagus open with a Tostido Tortilla chip! We had
no idea how serious this was - and that the esophagus was so vital - and was told
more difficult to deal with that he heart - fortunately she came through - but
will always struggle with swallowing. Bill, we will keep you in our thoughts &
prayers - keep with it!! The Placiers

Hi Bill! You can see that I'm not so adept on the computer! Anyway, I just wanted
to let you know that so often my dogs remind me of you and your patience with
them. Your kindness always shows, too whether it's dealing with 2-legged or 4-legged
friends. We all know you are having a difficult time (to put it mildly) Please
continue to be strong, Bill, but some cuss words now and then can't hurt!!Love,

Hi sweetie, It was wonderful to see you at your party and to see all the love
and support of the people there. I'm sorry you've been in the hospital, you
were just finishing up with the chemo and now this. Many many prayers are with
you in this fight and it surely is a fight. Your strength and determination
is a sight to behold. The gift of you just being you and the sixth sense you
have with dogs; you've taught so many people how to listen and train their dog(s).
You have created so many loving homes and have fixed so many that were near
disaster. Saving so many lives like that, we're all praying to save yours. We're
always thinking of you. Lots of love and prayers still coming your way.

was such an inspiring day...and it certainly wouldn't have happened if it wasn't
for you and ACA. At one point a doctor was on the floor with Eagle telling me
how important the Pet Therapy program is. You continue to give so much to so many
people in ways no one knows. Please know you are always in our prayers. May they

you. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever..

I am not really too sure why Bill affected me the way he did because I only knew
him for a short time. Maybe it was his relaxed demeanor surrounded by barking
dogs and hyper children. Maybe I was just envious that he had such an amazing
ability to communicate with animals. I can’t say for sure, all I know is that
I feel like a better person for knowing him. I am very sad by his passing and
very glad that he is no longer in pain. Renee and I were fortunate to be able
to bring Red to see Bill about two weeks ago. Just seeing a brief smile on his
face I know that wherever he is now, I’m sure it’s a better place and he is surrounded
by many well-behaved animals with that same big smile. You will be missed.

I extend my deepest sympathy to the family, wonderful and devoted friends and
beloved dogs of Bill Delaney. Even though I was never blessed with the privilege
of meeting Bill personally I felt a special bond with him through Bright &
Beautiful Therapy Dogs and the lovely thank-you note he sent me for the musical
CDs I sent him. He truly touched SO many lives and as I told him he would have
been my dog trainer of choice had I still lived in North Jersey as my rescued
dalmatian needed a lot of it. I also lost my Dad to cancer recently and may peace
be with you all in knowing that Bill no longer suffers the pain. His legacy will
live on through the people and dogs he dedicated his life to training. Sincerely,
Carol Bardo & Misty

My name is Rose Mikalonis. My father, John Mikalonis, is Billy's cousin. At Hawthorne
High School, I am a member of our charity organization called S.H.A.R.E. Our group
had once in the past, I believe raised money to help Billy through everything.
The members of S.H.A.R.E would once again like to help in the aid of Delaneys.
We would like to help in the finacial aid. So please, Dory, Chrissy, or closely
and directly related to the Delaneys, please try contact me before our next S.H.A.R.E
meeting which will be on Friday, November 4. My cell phone number is 973-508-6220.
We would all love to help in any way that we can. My most heart-felt symaphies

so much of who we are comes from those who have touched us, other lives we have
shared....when we mourn a loss, we also celebrate all the ways that another's
life is reflected in our own. grief, like a wave, has a rhythm of its own. at
first, it comes sweeping in, then it recedes leaving us in quiet peace with the
treasures of memory, love and strength that it carries to our shore. till grief
recedes and peace sustains and loving memory remains, our thoughts will be with
you. you have given us so much. you will be greatly missed.
